Refund and Cancellation Policy
This page separates three different things: your statutory rights (which always apply), cancelling a subscription, and voluntary refunds we may offer on top.
1. Your statutory rights come first
Nothing in this policy limits any right you have as a consumer under Slovak or EU law. In particular:
a) Withdrawal within 14 days. You may withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days from the day it is concluded, without giving a reason. You can do so at Withdraw from contract here or by e-mail/post as described in the Terms, section 12. For digital content the right is lost from the moment we begin to supply it only if you expressly consented to immediate supply, declared that you were informed you would lose the right, and we sent you the confirmation of the contract with those declarations. If you withdraw validly we refund all payments within 14 days of receiving your notice, to the payment method you used, at no cost to you; you owe nothing for digital content already made available if those conditions were not met.
b) Defective or non-conforming digital content or service. If MV Gallery PRO or MV Photo Client Orders does not conform to the contract, you are entitled to have it repaired free of charge (within a reasonable time, at most 30 days unless an objective reason justifies longer) and, if repair is impossible, disproportionate, unsuccessful or the defect is serious, to a price reduction or to withdraw from the contract with a refund (price reductions are paid within 14 days). You do not have to contact us first, but doing so usually gets you the quickest result. See Terms, section 13.
2. Cancelling a subscription
Cancelling an annual subscription (in your account, at any time) stops the next renewal. Your subscription and licence stay active until the end of the period you already paid for. Cancelling is not a withdrawal from the contract and does not by itself refund the current period — your statutory rights in section 1 remain available. Lifetime is a single payment, not a subscription: there is nothing to cancel.
3. Voluntary refunds
Beyond what the law requires, we do not currently offer a separate voluntary money-back guarantee. This does not affect any of your statutory rights described in section 1, which we honour in every case.
4. Free version and trial
The free version and the 7-day PRO trial of MV Photo Client Orders cost nothing, so no refund arises. Nothing is charged at the end of the trial and it never converts to a paid plan automatically.
5. How refunds are paid
Refunds are paid to the original payment method through Stripe. We issue a credit note, available in your account. Refunds due under section 1(a) are paid within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal notice.
