Installing MV Gallery

After purchase, download the MV Gallery ZIP from your customer account.
In wp-admin, go to Plugins → Add New Plugin → Upload Plugin.
Choose the downloaded ZIP file and click Install Now.
Click Activate.
A new MV Gallery menu appears in the wp-admin sidebar.

Activating your license

Go to MV Gallery → License in wp-admin.
Find your license key in your customer account, then paste it into the License key field.
Click Activate License. Your site is now shown as MV Gallery Pro Active.

One website per license

Each MV Gallery PRO license activates on one website at a time. Moving to a new site or domain? Click Deactivate License on the old site first, then activate the same key on the new one — this does not require a new purchase.

If your license shows invalid, expired or disabled

The License screen explains exactly why (for example: invalid key, expired, or revoked) and keeps your Pro settings safely stored so they return immediately once the license is valid again.

Creating your first gallery

Go to MV Gallery → Add Gallery.
Give the gallery a name and pick a layout (Masonry, Classic Slider, and — with an active PRO license — Focus Stack 3D or Parallax).
Click Add Photos and choose images from your Media Library, or upload new ones.
Adjust layout, style and responsive settings — the live preview updates as you go.
Set the status to Published and click Save Gallery.
Open any page or post, add the MV Gallery block (or paste the gallery's shortcode), and select your gallery.

Updates

MV Gallery updates through the normal WordPress plugin update workflow. When a new version is available, it appears on your Plugins screen like any other plugin update — review what changed under View details, then click Update Now. No manual download or re-upload is needed.

Updates are included with your active license at no extra charge. Your galleries, settings and license stay exactly as they were after an update.

Troubleshooting

The ZIP won't install

Confirm your site meets the requirements above (WordPress 6.5+, PHP 8.0+). If your host limits upload size, ask your host to raise it, or install the ZIP via SFTP into wp-content/plugins/.

License shows invalid, expired, activation limit reached, or an error

The License screen names the exact reason. An activation-limit message means the license is already active on another site — deactivate it there first. For anything else, contact support with the message shown.

"License server could not be reached"

This is usually a temporary network issue between your server and our licensing service. Pro features keep working during a short grace period — use Check License Now once your connection is restored.

No update showing even though a new version exists

WordPress checks for plugin updates periodically, not on every page load. Visit Dashboard → Updates and click Check Again to force a fresh check.

A gallery or photo isn't appearing on the front end

Confirm the gallery's status is Published and that the block or shortcode references the correct gallery. If your site uses a caching plugin, clear the page cache after publishing changes.

Layout looks broken or a theme/plugin conflict is suspected

Temporarily switch to a default WordPress theme and disable other plugins one at a time to identify a conflict, then contact support with what you find. Please don't edit MV Gallery's own files — that can block future updates.

What is MV Gallery?

Does it work with Gutenberg?

Yes. MV Gallery adds a dedicated block to the block editor, and a Classic Editor button for sites still using it.

How many websites can I activate it on?

One website per MV Gallery PRO license.

What happens if I change my website or domain?

Deactivate the license on the old site from MV Gallery → License, then activate the same key on the new one. This does not require a new purchase.

Are updates included?

Yes, for as long as your license is active.

How do updates work?

Through WordPress's normal plugin update workflow — updates appear on your Plugins screen and install with one click, the same as any other plugin.

Do I lose my galleries if I deactivate the plugin?

No. Deactivating MV Gallery keeps all galleries, photos and settings untouched. Data is only removed if you separately enable that option under MV Gallery → Settings and then delete the plugin.

Can I use my existing WordPress Media Library images?

Yes — MV Gallery is built directly on the Media Library you already use; there is no separate photo import step.

Which layouts are included?

Masonry and the basic Classic Slider are included with every license. 3D Focus Stack, Parallax and the advanced Classic Slider controls are part of MV Gallery PRO.

Where can I find my license?

In your customer account, and on the MV Gallery → License screen inside your WordPress admin once activated.
